🧢What to Bring on Your Lake Ontario Fishing Trip

To make your charter experience comfortable and successful, we recommend bringing:

  • Valid New York State fishing license (required)
  • Food and drinks (no glass containers)
  • Sunscreen
  • Sunglasses (polarized preferred)
  • Hat and weather-appropriate clothing
  • Soft-soled, non-marking shoes
  • Small cooler to transport cleaned fish home

Optional but helpful:

  • Motion sickness medication (if prone to seasickness)
  • Rain gear depending on forecast

Lake Ontario weather can change quickly, especially in spring and fall, so layering is recommended.

Although it is legal in NY state, it is strictly prohibited on this charter. As a licensed USCG charter captain, we are not allowed under any circumstances to have any form of drugs on our boat.
